On Monday 28 Sept Eva noted Terry seemed to be more alert, and in a better mood. I noted that if he kept on this some of his arthritis pain might subside, and she noted, "Yes, that too, he seems to have less pain and be able to get around better." Later she noted. "For the longest time (a year or so) he hasn't been able to read, even numbers. If he saw a 5 he might call it a 2. (On the clock test he did not write numbers, only circles.) He can now read numbers, make phone calls on his own, and even sign papers. Hasn't been able to sign his name for some time. Now today he did it just like he used to for a friend, who knew of his impairment. She said wow Terry, "That is the best you have ever written your name." (3rd mo on MemoryXL, also first month on B-complex with trace minerals, Phosphatidylserine, and low dose lithium.)
